Welcom to Hokkaido in winter Winter Events (Central Hokkaido)
How about a travel that focuses on Hokkaido’s three big snow festivals…?
1 The German Christmas Market in Sapporo (Sapporo)
The Christmas Market, which is a winter tradition in Sapporo’s sister city of Munich, will be recreated. Christmas goods and German crafts will be lined up, and you can also enjoy German delicacies such as “Glühwein (hot wine)” and “Roasted Almonds (sweets).” The entire venue is covered by a romantic mood, as there are also magical illuminations.
Schedule Late November through Monday, December 24, 2018

2 Sapporo White Illumination (Sapporo)
This is a popular event that is celebrating its 38th year this year. The lights on Ekimae Dori, which travels north and south through the city of Sapporo, and the sparkle of Odori Park, which stretches east to west, are very beautiful, allowing visitors to enjoy a magical sight.
